We’re looking for a skilled Backend Developer for a long-term public sector project. The role focuses on backend systems built with modern JVM technologies, data-heavy services, and secure integrations.

Location: Remote (occasional workshops possible)

Must-have skills

  • Java (Spring Boot), Spring Security

  • Kotlin

  • Clojure

  • Scala

  • PostgreSQL

  • REST/JSON

  • Elasticsearch

  • Prometheus

  • TDD & test automation

  • CI/CD (GitHub Actions)

General requirements

  • Experience with ticketing systems (e.g. JIRA)

  • Fluent Finnish (mandatory)

  • Good English (written & spoken)
