Fullstack Developer 1 - Long-Term Freelance project (CLOSED)

We are hiring a senior freelance fullstack developer for a long-term public sector contract project. This remote freelance role focuses on developing a new service using a modern JavaScript stack (React/TypeScript, Remix, Node.js, AWS, Kubernetes). Ideal for experienced contractors looking for a stable multi-year engagement.

Minimum requirements

• 600+ work days of experience with React

• 400+ work days of JavaScript/TypeScript development

• 200+ work days of TypeScript-specific experience

• Proven experience in fullstack web development

• Container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes)

• Understanding of web application security

• Accessibility expertise (WCAG)

• Native Finnish speaking

Preferred skills

• Experience with Remix or similar fullstack frameworks

• AWS and Kubernetes production experience

• MariaDB/MySQL

• Keycloak or identity management systems

• Public sector or regulated projects

• Strong Finnish communication skills (the role is interview-scored)

Location: Remote (within Finland)

Start: Early 2026

Duration: Multi-year contract (approx. 4 years)
